Well... Ignoring the climate and scenery, it's almost certainly Texas, and more specifically the suburbs around the DFW area.

Good and bad in every state. Depends on each persons personal life.
California has the economy of small countries. New York is America’s breadwinner. But housing prices in both are way overblown. Being said, that shouldn’t stop you from opportunities in those states.
Texas is a strange mix. We have high housing regulation and so cost of living here is low. And our Repub leaders are so pro business they provide tax free benefits at the cost of the poor.Probably California for the babes, and (believe it or not from this far leftist) Texas for a hot cowgirls.

California, if it wasn’t out of water and about to fall into the ocean.
That depends on how you define the term best.
If you like downhill skiing then Texas is not the best state.
If you like living Oceanside then it's definitely not OhioTexas, however it is losing that with more and more liberals swarming to it from California
I am not sure it kinda had to say but I think somewhere warm like Florida or Cali and maybe Hawaii.
Florida is the best state.
I think North Carolina is a fine state.
Not CA or NY.
I say it is Florida.
