Is there a two-tiered justice system in this country?
Thanks for sharing that video.
I had the misfortune of turning on NPR today in my car. They were talking about the indictments. And, yeah, there is two faced obfuscation about the fact that free speech is protected, but that Trump tried to damaged the credibility of our government institutions and corporate media and bla, bla, bla.
It didn't make sense, so I can't remember the nonsense.
Anyway, I know that Hillary did the same thing in 2016. Many Democrats protested the votes. Many Democrats refused to attend the inauguration. And there were riots and arson outside the barriers to the inauguration and parade route.
Then Hillary and the Democrats spent the four years of Trump's administration trying to impeach him for one fabricated thing after another.
They are still obsessed.
Anyway, since when is the government and corporate media trustworthy? They should NEVER be believed. And people haven't had faith in our electoral system since electronic voting machine came into use.
As far as trusting the electoral system. Democrats sued the DNC for rigging the 2016 primary in favor of Hillary when Sanders was the clear favorite. The DNC didn't contest the charges but won the lawsuit by saying that they are a corporation and have no obligation to comply with the will of the voters.
The DNC cheated again in 2020 when it appointed Biden. He and Harris dropped out of the primary early for lack of support, but somehow they miraculously won the nomination. Then they came from far behind at the last minute and somehow miraculously won the election.
Biden election rallies were empty and Trump filled auditoriums. Biden barely campaigned. Yet we are supposed to believe that he won more votes than any other candidate in history?
But Trump damaged the credibility of our government institutions and corporate media by saying the election was stolen. The Democrats expect people to swallow that.
It's Democrats who are turning this country into a banana republic while claiming that Trumps words had that effect.
They are despicable, lying hypocrites. They disdain the Constitution and the American people. And the people who give them credibility are dim witted sheep.

Lliam, you are one of the very few people on this site that get IT!
NPR = DemPR
I watched an episode of The Five, and Greg Gutfeld-bitch slapped Juan Williams for being such an idiot. Greg told Juan that he worked so hard studying for the show, and all Juan does is parrot liberal talking points. Jesse Watters laughed at what Greg said, and I thought Juan was going to cry. If you're going to be on a show like The Five, you best bring more to the table than.."Orange Man bad.
That's what we're seeing now in the news. Orange Man bad. It drives me crazy!
It's OK for a senator to have classified documents in their garage? Really? It's a felony for them to even have the documents, unless your last name is Clinton or Biden. But the Dems don't care.
Look at all the mounting proof that the Biden family really DID run a crime ring. Why do you think that Hunter lives at the white house? Who had the coke? Why can't the FBI and Secret Service figure out where the coke came from? The corruption is so deep, and the sheep believe anything they see on The View.
Lliam, thanks for having a brain.
No, only Biden's leading opponents especially if they are leading in the polls.

its worth reading the full text of the indictment. Its avialble online. It specifically says that claiming the election was stolen IS protected free speech. The crime (it says) is when Trump tried to use that as an excuse to interfere with the election process.
The indictment lists a number of things. Among them is trying to convince the VP to not certify the vote, along with using the justice department to pressure state election boards.
Democrats and Republicans are both above the law. Has Bush Jr been arrested for genocide yet? Trump does not have clean hands, but he's an outsider and is going down because he didn't abide by DC rules.
The answer is in my response. Read it carefully. Are you simple?
I agree that many Democrats and Republicans do avoid crimes that the average person would go to jail for; however, the same could be said for any elites with lots of money and power in any culture/society. I am not familiar with the Bush Jr. genocide thing; however, if he did commit genocide, I am pretty sure he would go to jail. Genocide is a big no no, almost as big of a no no as not using a turn signal while driving.
Who are "they" in this situation? Are you referring to the arraignment?
I would say the fact that nobody, that I know of, has been indicted for saying the election was stolen is an indication that they don't.
Saying the election was stolen is mostly protected by the first amendment, freedom of speech. However, if saying that the election was stolen leads to violence, defamation, or other factors like that then we could see an indictment due to the broken law that resorted from stating the election was stolen.
Let me know if you have any other question of concerns, this is an important topic and I enjoy discussing it.
So far you're the smartest person to reply. Some doorknob wants to talk about genocide. lol
How can you prove that what Trump said led to violence? What if you said the election was stolen, then someone picked up a gun and shot someone. Would you be fighting for your life in court?
Some people call it being smart, but mostly it is just that I am an emotionless insane person :). Also, genocide makes a great ice breaker for dates. The date won't last long, but oh well.
Proving that violence came from a statement or set of statements is incredibly hard, just like proving defamation is really hard to prove, generally.
I think, and I'm not a lawyer so take this with a truck full of salt, an indictment depends on the exact wording of Trump and whether a jury is convinced if a person can interrupt the words or inference as a call for violence.
As for the average person, almost definitely they wouldn't be fighting for their life in court, but the average person has nearly no influence and thus a reasonable person could expect no noticeable outcome from what they say.
Sorry for the long reply
I heard today that Trump wasn't indicted for the Jan 6 thing, because that would be ludicrous. The video shows him telling people to march peacefully to the capitol. Combine that with the fact we don't know who was in the crowd, and the fact that Nancy refused the national guard, and I can see why no lawyer would want to look that stupid.
You're in a bar.
Waitress: Can I get you a drink?
MOH: No thanks, I already ordered a kamikaze.
Waitress: Oh, shit, people, run for your lives, the Japanese planes are coming to kill us!!
It would take a pretty feeble-minded prosecutor to charge you for that, but if you were Trump, they would just tack it on to your list of crimes.
Yes, Trump hasn't been indicated, yet, for "inciting a riot or insurrection". I have a feeling he will be, because they have charged him with delaying a government proceeding. The certification of the election, due to Jan.6 riots. How can they get that conviction, if he hasn't been charged with starting the riot?
