I don't know. I am certainly not going to be like some conservatives who have no idea what dementia is or what it actually looks like, and who nevertheless insist that Biden has Dementia based on their uneducated observations.

That said - "Trump was then asked for his date of birth, and tripped over his words again. At first, he said “seven seven,” before correcting himself and saying “77”.

This is a clang association, or perseveration (hard Neuropsych signs), or perhaps he just misspoke, as we all do. It is NOT a sign of Dementia at all. It may be a sign of something else.

I don't think so. He is a definite criminal and often proves it by trying to defend his actions by telling of more criminal activity, so maybe that is a sign of dementia. He and his lawyers may end up claiming dementia to keep him out of prison.

It rises to the level of concern because it seems like he didn't mean to say it. If it was just a slip of the tongue so to speak, then of course it is not a matter of concern. In the context of his difficulties with language in general, however, I think I would want to know a little more about what's going on. I don't mean to say that it's definitive because it is not in and of itself.

I agree. It is a matter of convenience really. Trump makes it easy to observe his gaffes since he does a ton of them in public. Biden, not so much. I have no conclusions about either of them really.

He either has lewy body dementia, or Parkinson's induced dementia, CNN's debate solidified my suspicions there's something seriously wrong with Biden cognitive function. Makes me angry the DNC basically handed Biden the Democratic nomination instead of allowing us voters to choose a stronger better, stronger candidate to face Trump. I have seen him make plenty of speeches. He likes to go off script and can communicate very complex ideas very easily. He had to renovate the Javits center during covid and I herd him talk about the process he went through to get it done. It was very interesting.

He had to repair the ice making plant in the skating rink and he described the issues involved with the technical aspects of icemaking in a skating rink. It is not easy to take a complex issue and communicate it in terms the average person can understand.

I do not. It was during the 2020 campaign. I was pretty impressed at his depth of technical knowledge and also the fact that he knew the owner of the Montreal Canadiens well enough that he got hooked up with the tech guy at their hockey arena in Canada/
