My 4 month old and I are will be homeless by Monday morning. Not having anywhere to stay, what are some ways for us to stay safe and to keep warm during winter?
I don't have a car but I do have my driver's license.

There are plenty of homeless shelters for those who want to use them. Contact your local government or law enforcement facilities, and they can generally advise you as to what is available. You can also go to the library and do an Internet search for homeless shelters and women's shelters. Resources are available. Those who live on the streets often prefer living on the streets.
The next you I really appreciate this information thank you
They prioritize homeless women over men especially with a baby. calling lifeline for advice will be you best move they will help you as their lines are open 24/7.
Often yes but most have mental health issues and quickly give away Thier kids and hold a doll.
Blankets and finding and staying at a warm shelter! Not by the side of roads begging!
Find a church you can beg at and wear nice clothes and have a cute can. You can make more then at Walmart till you get pushed out!
I wouldn't feel comfortable begging. Everyone has their own struggles. Thank you for the blanket advice and the church part. Thank you.
Welcomes but the best way to get your baby the safety it needs!
Hopefully you get a home soon!
Thank you.
When I saw anonymous comment suggesting you find a church it reminded me the Catholic church as several organisations and some religious orders (monks and nuns) who help poor and homeless people. Go to the nearest Catholic church and talk to the priest explain to him your situation and ask him if there's any institution who can help you. If you're not Catholic or even not a christian don't worry that's not a problem they should help you regardless.
If the priest is having doubts remind him of the following:
The Catholic Church has a deep concern for the poor and homeless. In the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37), Jesus challenges all of us to be attentive to those who need our help, whether they have been wounded by violence, misfortune or poverty

Don't go on the street. It is too dangerous especially with a child. Consult the Family Support and Accommodation Service or any number of women's shelters in your area for assistance especially if you're mentioning you are leaving for safety reasons.
Thank you. They aren't open until tomorrow but I will definitely give them a call but I have a feeling they will be full and won't be able to take me because the housing crisis here is very bad

A lot of towns have women's shelters, check for one
Thank you for your help appreciate it heaps
What state are you in?
Australia.
There are women's shelters in the US designed specifically for homeless people with kids. You clearly have an Internet connection, so find one.
These stories are such bullshit on here.
It's ILLEGAL to kick someone out in the winter lol
I'm not being kicked out. I am however going to be homeless as I need to get away from this place due to safety reasons. Also I'm not from America and where I live the owner of a property can legally kick anyone out at any given time.
