There is a baby formula shortage. Would you be open to letting your baby suckle from a stranger's bosom in an emergency?

If the choice is between malnourishment, starvation, or a wet nurse, I would hope anyone would choose using a wet nurse. It actually had been a fairly common practice throughout history, and one of the main reasons it finally went away was the widespread availability of formula.

Yep of course. I'd even offer up my boobs to help wet nurse babies. Technically I already do this in a way since I milk share just through pumping tho

Wet nurses used to be a thing; no reason they can't be a thing again in a time of need.
