Why does it seem like the people who support western "liberal" things like feminism or lgbt stuff tend to be troubled individuals?

It’s because our political views are worldview, which is influenced by our personality traits, which are influenced by genetics.

Most people way underestimate how much genetics play a role in the way people think and behave.

When it comes to genetics, evolution is driven by mutation. Some mutations are adaptive, but the majority are maladaptive.

Adaptive traits are those which improve your ability to survive and reproduce. Maladaptive traits are those which hinder those abilities. In other words, functional vs dysfunctional.

In the natural world those with maladaptive mutations usually die before they reach adulthood, usually as a result of bad physical health. That’s mother nature’s way of weeding them out. In today’s society though with our advanced medical treatment and our high standard of living, that doesn’t happen most of the time. Therefore those with bad genes survive and reproduce.

When people think about mutation they think mainly about physical traits, however, the brain accounts for 84% of the genome. This means that mutation of the mind is much more likely to occur than physical mutation. It also means that if there is any sign of mutation of the body, mutation of the mind is guaranteed.

Along with maladaptive mutation comes what’s known as mutational load. That is the accumulation of maladaptive genes, which negatively impacts the health of the individual both mentally and physically.

When you look at the way those people live, the issues they care about most and their ideas on how society should run, a lot of their ideas are maladaptive.

Those who are more extreme or far-left are basically against everything that would be considered normal - marriage, children, family. They do all they can to undermine all of those things, and they promote everything but. They usually look quite strange too, many with obvious signs of mutation, weird shaped heads and shit like that. Check out these antifa mugshots:

They have bad mental health as a result of high mutational load, and all of their ideas come from that.

Because the core of these ideas is personal powerlessness: that you have no ability to improve your world, or even your life, without the help of The Ideology. You are [it says] weak and helpless; controlled and oppressed by outside forces, and only through Us can you hope to change anything.

That kind of thinking doesn't appeal to people who get things done- or even WANT to, instead of reveling in sloth. It's as liberal as Attila the Hun, but since the political right (in the western world) is becoming more and more moderate, the political left has become more and more authoritarian in response, since being seen as being different is more important than what you actually stand for.
