Mine would be that Roger Goodell and the NFL’s “independent investigator” Ted Wells (appointed by Goodell…just lmao) who investigated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots for allegedly deflating footballs to gain a competitive advantage really had nothing but worked backwards from the desired conclusion of “GUILTY!!!” This was done in order to appease Goodell’s bosses, the NFL team owners (obviously excluding the Patriots’ owner), who were crushing their hats in their hands for a decade and a half while the Pats had one of the most consistent runs of success ever witnessed in professional sports. Any way they could punish and hurt the Patriots sounded great to them, I’m sure. There’s been an ongoing effort to discredit them, just sore losers as far as the eye can see.

The NFL tested the shit out of footballs the next season. Remember what the results showed? Me neither, because they never fucking released them, they just knew the average idiot would move onto the next shiny object and never ask questions. Other fans didn’t care unless there was evidence to show likely guilt, and Pats fans are just dummies like any other human, so they didn’t pursue it. The NFL is a mammoth and can do the Heisman on any question they want and get away with it because like 70-some% of the population watches football.

I’m a pretty intellectually honest guy and I do my best to be aware of my own biases and desires to have those confirmed. If I truly thought something nefarious was going on, I’d admit that and react as necessary. I’m also a Boston Red Sox fan. In 2018, they won the World Series, and the new manager Alex Cora always seemed to push the right buttons and get the max out of the roster. A year or two later we find out the Houston Astros had a cheating scandal, and won the 2017 World Series with the help of a scheme where they’d steal the other team’s pitch sign and someone would bang a trash can X amount of times to alert the hitter to what pitch to expect. Implicated in the scheme was their then bench coach…wait for it…Alex Cora. Came to the Sox the next season, lit it up, won it all, and there is NO fucking way there wasn’t something shady going on, in retrospect. It was never proven, but there was some smoke there. So I’ll call out my own when necessary, even when I still have plausible deniability.

Based on the videos alone, the building looked like it blew just before the plane made contact. And people inside said that they heard a boom from inside the building before the plane hit.

Yep, and the fact that videos showing that have tendency to get scrubbed from the internet. I still managed to find a YouTube video with some of the national broadcasts interviewing people who heard what sounded like an explosion before they went down.
