How much of antisemtism do you think is rooted in jealousy?

Okay we always hear from antisemties that Jewish people run predatory banks and poison pushing pharmaceutical companies and dishonest and corrupt media. But one thing I wonder is if from antisemties who are almost always white supremacists if they see Jewish people as barriers to superiority and when they say that Jewish people run the banks and the media if that anger is coming from a place of jealousy because they believe that they won’t truly be superior with Jewish people who they say run the banks and the media.

Part of the appeal of using Jewish people as scapegoats comes from stereotypes that they're wealthy and have an international diaspora; but I think one of the main reasons is that they're simply minorities in a lot of places. In general, if people are suffering and want to blame someone else for their problems instead of facing their own responsibility or weakness, they often go for nearby minorities, whether these are black people, Jewish people, white people, latino people, Asians, or vaguely muslim-looking people..

It's rooted in projection, and low self esteem. These people tend to know nothing about Jews, immigrants, Muslims or others outside their insular bubble.

This makes them easy picking for politicians, bigots and demagogues who exploit their insecurities for their own gain.

You can't get a job? It's "Jews and immigrants taking them all!" Food prices rising, and no cheap housing? "it's those Arabs and Russians putting up prices, and buying up real estate!" etc etc.

It's how democracy and political power works. You find some group to pin all your incompetence and blame on, then play both sides. Be a "friend" to the minority while you exploit them, and tell the majority that they must not demonize them despite what blame you put on them.
