Why do people HAVE to take no as an answer?

Now I'm not saying that people should start raping people and all that, but, like, when it comes to asking someone out etc.. why should people just have to accept the answer of no?

My mom was turned down by the same job over and over, because they just weren't hiring. But, she really wanted the job. One day they literally said "you know what, we're finally hiring, and we need someone on the spot, can you start today".. and she's like "yeah, def."

, the problem, is that it's really difficult to explain how off-putting and disgusting it feels to have sex with someone you don't really want to have sex with. When you don't accept no as an answer, you are pushing the person to do something they don't really want to do. And particularly with sex, that can have a lasting traumatic impact.

I agree that you should not have to accept a no when you ask a woman out, but what about gays or landwhales who treat guys as if they were women?
