Why can't some people take no as an answer?

Every time I turned down a guy, he took at least three to four more chances to convince me. If I say no, it's no from my end. Yesterday a guy asked me out and I denied saying I wasn't ready to have a relationship. Today he again approached me saying we can talk and over the course of time I'll fall for him. That got on my nerves. Did I not say I was not going to change my mind? Once I told a guy I had a boyfriend to get rid of him and he tried to tell me that he could be better than my boyfriend. What runs in the psychology of the people who can't take no as an answer?

They don't understand that when you say. No, that's what you mean. They do not respect

He is still getting your attention that's what is running in his mind... you might be saying no but you are still talking to him. Guys have learned shit like no don't always mean no because of mixed signals to the point they don't know how to read people. If he bugs you enough he will get what he wants if what he knows... being persistent gets results, where listening got him no where. Don't feed the trolls and the trolls go away... same concept be better then the crappy dude and the crappy dude will go away.

I have to meet him daily for work, that's how I have to talk to him. Otherwise I'd have removed him from everywhere. He has started following me on every social media and keeps sending texts there. Asked me for my number as well but I denied and he asked again and I again denied.

I don't think in my case it's about the energy. Not everyone is attracted to everyone, he likes me but I don't feel anything for him. We're not friends, just acquaintances. Anyway, thanks for trying to help.

Yes. When I said that it sounded very wrong, he said he wanted to talk to me anyway and wanted to "flirt with me occasionally". No respect for me, no respect for his own gender.

Leave hint, I directly declared that there was no chance and I was never going to have a second thought on it. I don't know him enough, I don't even find him attractive (both physically and personality wise) and he's 8 years older than me while I prefer dating people with a maximum 5 years gap. I told him all these except the attractiveness part because I thought that would hurt him. He asked me if I wanted him to wait for a few years while I change my mind and I said that I wasn't going to change and he should try with someone else. He still told me: "talk to me sometimes, otherwise I will think everything is just from my end". I replied: "yes, everything is from your end". He told me then: "give me time, and you'll stop thinking that." Eww, am I that fickle?
