Is everyone becoming more socially awkward or is it just me?

I’m 23 almost 24m in Essex in the UK I’m a bit of a people watcher from time to time and I used to be very insecure and awkward in public around strangers. Lately personally seem to be like I used to be and I wondered if anyone else has noticed. I wonder if this is another one of the effects of the fallout of the pandemic.

Nope it's one of the effects and fallout of our society... not the pandemic. Everything is getting more awkward in today's society, like there used to be time that we were not hung up over offending someone. Like we offending someone was just something that was going to happen from time to time... no big deal.

But in today's society, offending someone is treated like crime.

I think mobiles and social media are definitely having an impact on people's social abilities. People kuchen more comfortable communicating digitally than in person
