To Break Bad is to reject social norms for one's own gain or amusement. To give up on the typical moral and social norm and go one's own path, regardless of the legality or ethics.

Example: A down on his luck high school chemistry teacher decides to cook meth for more money. He then becomes a drug king pin and feels even more alive than ever before.

I would definitely say... yes? What it is, i rather not say. But let's just say since I've made the decision to against what everyone says is wrong, i've never felt more alive. Not even my mom can understand what I mean by that. Telling me, this is truly a great decision.
