Um, you ARE aware that slaves in the US were black, right? With a relative handful of Irish people thrown in early on? The settlers would probably have been happy to enslave the locals instead, especially since they were adapted to the area and knew how to survive there. But they couldn't, because a lack of disease resistance kept killing them, and because people (brace for a shock) don't LIKE being enslaved.

At no point were Europeans "hunting and enslaving" Amerind folks. They were never in any position to.

When i said hunting i was referring to the more animal like mystical creatures. And Yes (Brace for shock) I know that people didn't like to be enslaved, I am not an idiot. I was using ONE EXAMPLE to show ONE time in history where people were were enslaved. Native Africans were shipped to 'the new land' to help the British (AND OTHERS) build villages.

If they were real, they weren't mystical, and yes humans would definetly eat a Unicorn Burger or Cyclops eyeball soup, until these creatures became extinct with maybe one or two sad little beings kept in zoos.

As for the creatures. Humans have hunted down nearly everything they desired in animals. Hell, Hunting it's the number one sport in America, after shooting people.
