It just seems that everyone is a slow f**kwit ain't good at S**t nowadays but social media and constant attention seeking.

There was a time when you had to be " real " , you had to walk to the post office stand in line to pay a bill , whereas none of this was convenient , Can you imagine a 20 something doing this? Its just a world of constant affirmation , there is plenty of good about it , but it certainly has not helped with personality disorders , depression , conversation and the like , and not just in youthful age groups .

A guy I've actually never met in person , randomly started messaging and abusing me yesterday for no reason , none of these things he would have said to my face , so he has obviously picked up on something I wrote somewhere , all of these kinds of ludicrous actions.

It was inevitable with the rise of the internet. It used to be chatrooms, the future is supposed to be the metaverse. But whichever you're talking about it's the same thing it's the internet. Back before the internet you actually had to go out in the world to meet people. If you were an a**hole that no one liked you had to work on your personality and become a better person for people to want to be around you. None of this is necessary anymore thanks to the internet. You can find your tribe on the internet. And if you can't, you can create a persona to fit in with a tribe. In fact , you can re-invent yourself weekly with a few keystrokes. You can toss away friends online and start over anytime you want.

I guess what I'm saying is this has caused the recent generation to become VERY self-absorbed. I'm only picking on that generation because they never knew a world without the internet. They never had to develop a personality.
