My workplace is doing illegal things and I don’t know what to do?

if something expires they change the date and put it back on the shelf. i worked over time and they paid me under the table ( not taxed) and didn’t pay me over time either. they are so unsanitary it’s disgusting. they buy things from surrounding stores and sell them at our place for WAY more (something was $3.99 they have me sell it for $12.99). i try to throw anything expires away they get mad at me. the managers wife uses the spray deodorant we have and then puts it back on the shelf. someone bought a burrito from our freezer section yesterday and came back today to complain it was moldy and they got sick and all my managers said was “ just ignore her till she leaves”. also if something expires they scrub off the date so it’s hard to read and place it back. the problem is i can't report them. no places are hiring near my home and the managers are scammers and will make me regret saying anything.

The untaxable income sounds really awesome, but everything else sounds horrible. They sound like one of those business owners who only care about their own wallet. Those people are the worst!

Though I don't think buying items from other stores and reselling them at a higher price is illegal. A lot of small businesses to this, but the other stuff is definitely illegal.

Sadly, I really don't think there's anything you can do without risking your employment or safety. I guess you just have to put up with it. Eventually they WILL get caught.

No, the unTAXED income is bad. It very much is taxable, and it’s bad that it isn’t getting taxed. Those pay for public services.

I pretty much agree on everything you said but on the untaxed income. That pays for the enforcement of rule of law so all that shit doesn’t happen. Eventually customers wise up and the business loses business, as you implied.

How are they gonna know YOU reported them? Either report them without leaving a name or get someone they don't know to report them. Get that person that got sick on the burrito to do it. They have every right in the world to do it!

Well either stop working there which you probably can't or film it and get all the evidence and show the police 😔.
