Well in olden times in Europe it was because they weren't Christians in a time when non-Christians were persecuted or being the wrong kind of Christian meant being burned at the stake. So the Jews were generally pretty lucky because they were allowed to live in European countries from time to time provided they offered services to the ruler such as money lending and academia but if they got to powerful or wealthy the nobles would cut them or king cast them out. If you ever read or watched the merchant of Venice its shows this, the nobles treat shylock like shut, refuse to take his money and one runs off with his daughter. Longshanks king of England (king from braveheart) borrowed money from the Jews of York to build his castles in Wales after conquering it, if you've ever been to Wales there's a lot of castles and to fund his wars in France and Scotland. This shows how wealthy a group the Jews were in Europe and when the Jews had no more money to lend him and wanted paid back he had all the Jews in York killed. The aristocrats of Europe would only allow Jews to reach a certain level so that they would not challenge them, this changed in the napolonic era when the Rothchilds backed the British and manipulated stock markets for uber wealth.

In modern America Jews push for diversity in top jobs, the media, the film industry and college places even though they occupy a disproportionate percentage of these positions and wealth. For instance they try to keep Asians out of colleges as they are a major rising competitor in every field occupied by Jews.

The Nazis blamed the Jews for their loss in WW1 and unfavourable terms of the German surrender because a disproportionate amount of Jews were involved in the German revolution and the Weimar Republic that surrendered despite not one British, French or American soldier stepping foot on German soil. They blamed Jews for the Wallstreet crash because a large amount of jews were involved in wallstreet, Jews for the German economic crash brought on by decadence of the 1920s weimar government when American banks called in their loans and of course hyperinflation. Blamed Jews for the communist uprisings in Germany because a lot of Jews were involved in the German communist party. And of course Jews for the Russian revolution in Russia because again a disproportionate amount of the leaders of it were jewish.
