How many genders are there? What do you think of a person when they introduce themselves and tell you their pronouns?

So many. As many as there are people who think about 'em. And then some.
Gender, like sexuality, is a spectrum.
I don't personally introduce my pronouns, since I don't get dysphoric using my presenting form pronouns and I'm kinda used to them from growing up thinking I was cis.
I do have a pin I wear on my sweaters and jackets though that illustrates my she/they pronouns.
My work email signature also bears she/they.
I'll probably move to they/them in the future, but for now I'm ok with she/they. My friends use they/them pronouns with me, but I have plenty of friends and family who are from another time who'd have trouble adjusting. And as I don't mind accomodating their preference, I do.
If someone introduced themselves with their pronouns, which has happened only a few times irl, I will also declare mine. It's an easy way for me to come out to them, lol.
There are only 2. I wouldn't give a shit about your pronouns, especially if you are wanting to use they or them.
Humans are a binary species. There are two genders, male and female. They are not interchangeable.
I have no interest in woke arguments to the contrary. As far as I'm concerned, it's as much of a waste as listening to the scientific logic of a Creationist, flat Earther, or someone who gets all their information from corporate media.
I don't give a fuck about the agenda of medical, pharma, psychology, academic, charlatans or corrupt politicians.
When I hear someone talking about their "preferred" pronouns or using the prefix "cis", I turn my back on them in disgust and disdain. They are ostracized.
there's 2 genders in the species homo sapiens sapiens. pronouns and identity aren't ones individual possession. that's a fundamental missunderstanding of language.
pronouns are a language tool for people to describe what they see. so trying to force the use of pronouns is compelled speech.
identity is also not your individual right and ownership. identity emerges from the facts of reality and the "SHARED" vision of that reality. so if i say "i'm your king", you have the right to challenge that and checkt the facts to figure out whether or not i am actually your king. that's how identity works.

There are only two. I have not had to deal with someone introducing themselves with pronouns, but if they did, I would acknowledge it and excuse myself from them and the conversation. Have no desire to converse with someone who falls into that frame.
Personally, I believe there are only two. When a person introduces their selves with their pronouns, I try to accommodate. It's polite and takes little effort on my part. I don't think much of it beyond that, though. They're happy, I'm happy, all's good.
There are two genders. No one has to tell me their pronouns. I don't speak to a person in the 3rd person. If they are pretending to have words to refer to themselves in the 3rd person that aren't standard/normal English, I don't indulge delusions.
That's never happened to me. If it did I''d just laugh at them and walk away. I wouldn't take them serious, I wouldn't give them the time to listen to what they think they were going to say, and I definitely would not employ them.
There are two and, perhaps, Oops. But even Oops are XX or XY chromosomes. Pronouns are just constructs to control language and they way people think. Just more deceptive propaganda.
'Sex' and 'gender' have been synonimous since the dawn of time. They still are among the sane majority. It has only been in recent years that a fringe group hijacked the term gender and tried to change its definition. By their definition the term has utterly no meaning. To the rest of us, there are only two genders / sexes, as has always been the case.
Nobody has ever introduced themselves to me that way.
I understand there are people who feel trapped in the wrong body etc and want to express themselves in a manner more common to the opposite gender and I have no problem with referring to those people using their preferred pronouns but I think there are people who fake this problem for attention alone.
They can use whatever made up pronouns they want. They can't require that I do the same however.
I say that there are only two, and I think the whole pronouns thing is just kinda weird to me.
Physically only two until you can change every bit of DNA in a human body from male to female and vice versa. Mentally there are thousands of genders and pronouns
I think it's rude, it's like they are trying to get you to say something they will declare is offensive to them, I would NEVER introduce myself as "Mister",,,
Gender is a spectrum.
And when they indroduce themselves with pronouns, its just the same as when they introduce themselves with their name.
I think it's moronic. If someone would introduce themselves with pronouns, I'd show my disgust and just walk away.
If you are normal sane person you would say there are only 2 genders
But if you have MENTAL ILLNESS you will say there are more than 2 genders.
I introduce myself, as Dave. That's all you need to know, anything else, is you just being a little shitbag
Being a sane person, I believe only 2 genders are there
There are only two sets of gender chromosomes: XX and XY. There's nothing more.
3.
I think they're a brain-dead idiot that's OD'd on the Kool-Aid!!
2 genders I don't live in pretend world I call it how I see it.
Only male and female and I do not trust anyone from the pronoun brigade.
2, man and woman. But I can respect people who identify as attack helicopters.
