Why is nobody joining the military?

A few reasons:

• The last few wars have utter failures that cost trillions of dollars and resulted in thousands of dead and broken soldiers. My brother served in Afghanistan and told me he felt like it was all for nothing considering how that ended.
• This country does not do right by its veterans, the idea that any of them are allowed to be homeless is appalling.
• Lately the military has gone woke under Biden with soldiers being forced to take stupid DEI classes and transgenderism being promoted. The majority of recruits have always come from conservative areas and families so this puts them off.
• Most young people these days are not even qualified to serve due obesity, drug use, being wimpy soyboys, etc.

there are a lot of reasons why some people would join and not join the military

but since this question is about why people don't join, it's for these reasons most likely

false promises, low salary for work conditions, lower standards than usual, work experience doesn't translate to outside, disposability by the government, vaccines, lack of respect from the public, popularity becoming more important than competency in promotions, virtue signaling, going woke thanks to feminism, MeToo, LGBTQ etc.

the military could've been the last bastion of masculinity but masculinity is demonized in western society so instead of standing firm on principle, they back down to facilitate to the woke mob

Because they don't want to get screamed at by a man with no forehead while they do pushups in the mud to earn the right to go kill, and by killed by, other poor people in miserable parts of the world.

The bigger question is why anyone ever DID.

Why would anyone join the military of an country that hates you and wants you dead?
