How do you know if someone is "woke"?

if we're talking 'woke woke' people (not normal liberal people, like sjws):

-shorter or/and dyed hair

-piercings & tattoos (often the piercings are septums or ear piercings)

- can have a more tomboy or butchy style, an alt style (goth, emo, punk, etc)

- probably on the lgbtq spectrum. you can often tell visually by the style choices above and rainbow accessories. also on their social media usually they have their pronouns in their bio and can say their sexual orientation often too

- even if they're straight and not trans/non binary, they'll often use the terms cis/cisgender, ask peoples pronouns, and say their pronouns even though they use the normal ones

- if you talk to them at some point they'll bring up the oppression of the lgbtq+ people, toxic masculinity, feminism, blm, body positivity, class opression/socialist talking points and stuff like that

- they probably romanticize or/and have mental illnesses, that you'll often also see in their bios. they'll also often talk about it. most commonly depression, anxiety, autism/aspergers, adhd, ptsd, bpd and anorexia

- if they're a guy they probably are a soft boy, and probably are into being dominated provided they're straight (they'll be over sexual and often talk about their kinks), they'll often be a leftist and really care a lot about capitalism and class problems than woke girls. often are on the spectrum

On the flip side it’s very easy to tell who is anti-woke. All they ever talk about is woke, woke, woke.

First you'd have to understand the real definition of woke not the fox news and every extreme right news version that's created to divide us even more.  The version that right wing media portrays isn't being woke. It has been transformed to be used as an insult.  Here's some history on the word and who really used it and why. You should read this it you really want to understand the origins and what it's morphed into by right wing media.  As for how right wing media portrays woke, I don't really know anyone who is like that and I live in a blue state. Its the right wing distraction unfortunately.

People who define themselves or others with labels are immature. It tells me they lack self awareness and must adopt the tribalistic philosophy of an "us" and a "them". Who cares?

The woke movement, in its simplest form, is to advocate treating others as human beings, regardless of their differences (male vs female, straight vs LGBTQ, black vs white, or whatever).

If treating others kindly causes someone to label me as "woke", then shit, thank you.

Symptoms of being "woke" include:

1) accusations of wrong doing are as good as proof, therefore "innocent until proven guilty doesn't exist"

2) they only demonstrate their support for a minority group by attacking perceived enemies of that group, not by actually helping them directly.

3) they advertise their actions to their peers.

4) when someone starts discussing the person who should be "cancelled" there can be no talk of forgiveness or rehabilitation. Only escalating "what I'd do" comments until you reach the point where the guilty parties punishment far far exceedsthe nature of their wrong doing.

Visual queues are the easiest and most self explanatory. But sometimes if they’re still in the early stages or stuck in “default woke” so it’s not apparent. However, with the ideology taking over almost every aspect of society, it’s still pretty easy to get a good idea from asking simple questions. If they can’t answer it easily or give a very politically correct answer it’s an easy write-off.
