Which occupation is for me in my whole life?

I'm so impatient. I express myself well. My imagination is wide. I write beautiful things. My empathy skills are not very developed, but I listen to the voice of my conscience. I'm a hard worker in essence, but I have to believe in something, I have to be convinced. My friends tell me that my humor is good. I have a severe personality disorder. I care about correcting erroneous perceptions in society.

I would worry less about finding an occupation to fit you, and worry more about developing skills to fit you to an occupation. I say this not to be mean, but as a business owner and someone who hires people, their personality and world view take a back seat to if they can do the job or not. I have an employee who is honestly an asshole. He so abrasive and idealistic its impossible to put people with him. He's also my highest earning employee. I can send him out to do a job I would 3 other people out on and he gets it done in the same amount of time. If as an employer, I cared about personality or ideals, I'd fire him in a second.

Some form of being an editor. Maybe for a publishing company. Advertising. Would be my guesses. My assistant says you'd be good for being a social media manager, although I don't know enough about what that entails to give an answer to that.

A blogger might be good as well. You can start as a freelance guest blogger and then start your own blog as you get more practice in.


Blogging is more more introverted than vlogging, since you’re writing.


Also, if you’re impatient, you can work as fast as you want to as a freelancer (paid per project or by monthly retainer) or independent business owner.


I began as a freelance content writer, and then I became a copywriter, and marketing manager — while managing social media as part of my responsibilities, and I needed to train, work with, and manage a team of people: virtual assistants, video editors, copywriters, and various other cross-department personnel.


But yeah, I think a long-form or medium-form content writer would fit you best — whether for someone else, or for yourself, or perhaps both.

Bear in mind, during your career, you should be growing and developing. So the skills and character you have now will not be the same as it will be later, as long as you keep growing and improving. 🌱

And as mentioned earlier, you don’t have to limit yourself to only things you can do now. You can pick something out, and then learn how to do it.

For example, I started as a graphic designer — doing photoshop editing for 6 years.

Then, I wanted to learn sales and business. I had no experience yet. Then, I got the experience and even trained sales teams.

But, being more of an introvert than an extrovert, I decided that marketing would be a better fit for me — where I’m still talking to people, but it’s just with my team instead of hundreds of strangers every week.

There are tests that you can take tht will determine what kind of occupation you are suited for. Go to your local college and ask to see a counselor.

None of these really say a specific career that would be good for you. In all honesty, career hopping is a norm, staying with one company until it’s time you get a promotion and moving on when the company doesn’t give it to you and staying there until it’s time to move somewhere else. Tbh you could do anything you like, it all depends on your priorities and if you want to live to work or work to live.
