anyway. no the incumbent doesn't drop out of the race for an unknown. if this guy was the rising star of the democratic party with lots of achievements behind him then there's a conversation but still the incumbents have been successful at a high rate (especially when you extract republican incumbents). but the reality is he is mostly likely been tagged to run to siphon off primary votes for non-biden voters OR running just to get his name in the limelight for the future.

I think there should be a primary election and the democratic voters can decide. Maybe this guy could be the winning candidate, it's too bad the DNC won't allow debates because then we could hear what he actually had to say.

I think age is going to be the biggest problem democrats have with Joe Biden which is why I think it's not a bad idea for this new guy to challenge. I wish some news station would decide to have their own debates like Fox is trying to do with Desantis and Newsom.

Good point. I guess it comes down to whether Biden should debate competitors who can’t poll over 1%. I don’t know what this new guy’s polling is. We’ll have to let the media vet him.

There are so many more suitable candidates for the Democrats to pick than Biden, but they are strongly discouraging any other people to run. It's almost like they are trying to throw the election
