Okay, so follow up question then for the people who voted TRUE, why do Americans love to shoot stuff so much?

I’d say Americans’ favorite pastime is entertainment — movies, shows, video games, etc.


I personally do enjoy shooting. But, if you were to survey my entire university, you’ll find that most of them don’t own or shoot guns.


And I’m sure it’s similar with most universities as well.


If you look at the stats as well, most people don’t own guns, but the ones that do, tend to own a lot of them.


So, even though the average is high — most of the guns belong to those who collect guns.


Guns are a very American thing though, stereotypically. So are cowboys. But you don’t see cowboys walking around everywhere do you? 🤣


In the rural areas and outback, you’ll definitely come across more gun owners. They actually need them for hunting or self-defense against wild animals.


But the highly populated cities and urban areas, where most people are?


Most ordinary city-dwelling people don’t carry guns.

nah. it's definitely sports. or watching sports. Recreational shooting is up there though, and there's nothing wrong with it either. It takes hard work and practice to get good enough to shoot some targets. It is a hobby that also proves useful in emergency situations when you need to defend yourselves or your family from violent criminals.

hopefully not. but you never know what the democraps will allow to happen, so better safe than dead. no reason to use the smallest gun, and then work your way up until you find one that's effective in stopping a threat. people would be dead by then.

So close, but no, it's school shooting. I haven't been keeping up with the news, but didn't you people recently have a mad gunmen kill over 20 people just a day or two ago, in some New England state?

Yeah, in Maine, in a bowling alley I heard. It was one of those soldiers, they love and worship so much. I'm amazed the guy actually got away. Usually he either murders himself or gets shot by police.
People are wondering why there was no "good guy with a gun", to stop him.
