WHICH of the following two issues DO YOU BELIEVE SHOULD BE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY’S NUMBER ONE PRIORITY?
a, combat big tech censorship

the biggest priority of both parties should be increasing compensation/wages while reducing inflation of the lower and middle classes.
for decades inflation has outpaced wage growth exponentially. it's growing (and for many has already grown) to a breaking point
but from these 2 what is more important?
sigh, also you are asking for a ROUND square because "Do Wage Increases Cause Inflation?
"Wage increases" CAUSE "inflation" because the cost of producing goods and services goes up as companies pay their employees more. To make up for the increase in cost, companies must charge more for their goods and services to maintain the same level of profitability. The increase in the prices of goods and services is in inflation." so your idea CAUSED inflation.
instead the solution is by COMPETITION but not government involvement. source website about economics.
i don't really know which of the two feel most important. neither feel important enough to truly IMPROVE the issues americans truly need fixing
i don't know how we can say we are scared to increase wages because we believe it will lead to inflation when inflation has outpaced wage growth exponentially. my dad bought the house he lives in now (4br) in 1982 for 65k. the same houses on his street are selling for $600k. wages have not come close to increasing at that rate. so when we talk about all the socioeconomic issues we can point to the cost of milk costing under a dollar to costing $4. the average car costs $7k. today it's $46,290. this is simply untenable. wages need to increase with the cost of living.
about "outpaced" , your need is accurate inflation is huge. and got worse with biden policy and handouts. the METHOD differs, the method is called COMPETITION. but raising wages does cause inflation.
for example if milk sold locally is 4$ a gallon encourage competition more milk companies and even importing then sellers will lower their prices so people will choose theirs. that is how smart countries brought down prices by encouraging competition.
for example i used to pay 30$ for cellular service then new companies got their permits and the price war dropped the price to 10$, not only for phone minutes but including a large wifi package. the point is "not adding income but limiting expenses."
biden policies did not spur inflation. inflation was already on the path it was under trump. it just hadn't hit yet. our handling of the pandemic, which was experienced worldwide, caused the record inflation we saw. but even eliminating the pandemic (trump or biden) inflation has been exponentially outpacing wage growth since the 80s
B. A is substantially lower on the list.

stop big pharma from overpricing life saving drugs, equipment and medication... and also stop abusive/predatory/scamming health insurance practices while you're at it
both Democrats, Republicans should focus on that... not just one side, lol
but from these two what is more important? and democrat had their chance and are not doing what you said,
none of the two parties are doing anything of what we really need
politicians are not for the people and by the people... they are for their sponsors which, are all these big companies
www.businessinsider.com/.../how-health-insurance-providers-are-lowering-prescription-drug-costs @NathanDavis
the government must not interfere with businesses. however insurance companies attract more customers by changing policy for insulin etc.
your expectation for the government getting involved in prices goes against the principles in economics. that is why neither side does that.
let's just hope that neither of us two ever has to pay 100k US dollars per pill... if we ended up needing years of treatment (knocking on wood a trillion times)
I like my spam filter so "big tech censorship" is a non-issue.
Republicans have voted against every border security funding bill for the last 20 years so that is also a non-issue.
Republicans number one priority should be to stop relying on misinformation to grab power and start representing their constituents' best interests instead of trying to become their constituents' rage gatekeepers.
reminder remember trump wall? those bills you mentioned were containers for bad stuff in a pretty package. perhaps you feel republican should start border control?
I remember Mexico refusing to pay for the wall, yes, and I remember people repeatedly pointing out how ineffective I would be, anyway.
And no, the Obama administration put a clean immigration reform bil through the senate. Republicans rejected it without reading it because it was Obama and they knew quite well if our border issues ever do go away, no republican will ever get elected again. This is why Texas is the only remaining border state having trouble with its border: because it is the only repubpican-ran border state.
mexico true, but trump was republican refuting your claim.
reminder you wrote "Republicans have voted against every border security funding bill for the last 20 years so that is also a non-issue." but this is "not non issue" due to trump republican building the "racist" wall. [that biden is now building the same racist action.]
Both.
But limit the censorship. You can't cause a panic. You shouldn't use racist and bigoted statements. Make false claims against someone or a group. Things like that should be censored. Just like at a job. You can't call a co-worker or customer a (racist ipitat) and still have a job.
1, about "shouldn't use", what right do you have to decide what OTHER people write or "should not use"? you choose what you write. 2, about false claims who gets to decide what is disinformation or nonsense or fake news? i can imagine a counsel of a christian an atheist and a muslim for balance:
anything islam is nonsense according to atheist and christian.
anything christian is nonsense according to atheist and muslim.
anything atheist is nonsense according to the two religions. then what remains?
1) shouldn't call someone the *n* word at all. Regardless of race they are.
2) saying that someone is gay when they're not. That's false and shouldn't be said.
2 examples of my meaning.
what about context, if somebody made an EXCEPTION not insulting blacks but in the context of "i want to say something nice about those niggers" would that be good?
If you said people instead then it wouldn't be censored. Why do people want to racist words?
Both of those are important but neither one should be the top priority
i can imagine you at a beauty contest "you all win first prize". both teams won the world series.
i thought you meant both. my bad.
