National guard?

i want to go to the national guard is it possible to work full time in base instead of just the weekend a month cause i don’t want to do the army but i like national guard and being able to defend my nation and help in natural disasters but would want to be able to help around base is it possible to be national guard full time or would i have to go army for that

The Guard does have full-time positions, but I'm unsure of the exact details- you'd have to talk to recruiters directly for that subject. I'm fairly certain that those full-time roles are mostly if not entirely administrative positions though, so you wouldn't be "helping" in the way you sound interested in.

Yes it is they have full-time positions. But understand this, you can still be deployed overseas being in the national guard. I mean that’s what it’s for to defend the nation. I was in the national guard for 6 years. Deployed twice to the Middle East, once to the border of Arizona/Mexico.
