i think that the typical approach has clearly not worked for centuries. so there is no reason to think it will work today
even if israel is somehow able to remove Hamas from Gaza there is no reason to think that this will come close to ending the conflict. in fact it may incite greater conflict as radical muslims dig in to combat what they see as greater western influence in the region.
it doesn't mean that there shouldn't be action. but the action needs to be better thought out as to not simply repeat centuries old mistakes and missteps
Very much a novice mean compiling an opinion in the political arena, but I don't think acceptance is a trait most nationalities support. The Middle East region has a long history of conflict over religious and economic issues, and I suspect it will always be that way.
In another part of the world they would be!
In Europe till Germany WW2 they were widely accepted.
The Muslim faith is very hateful and written to hate them. No one reads it but it was written by a guy who hated Jews
They are doing good in a area of the world designed to kill and hate them.
So like how you forget they have been killing each other for centuries.

Israel is already capable of a Final Solution for the Saracens. Since they can't gas them, they have to deport them. I like Syria, Iraq and Libya as destinations.
It's not the military that's the problem. Their military is fine. It's their intelligence that failed. The military can't protect its people from an attack they don't know is coming. That's what the Mossad is for.
No country is ever safe. It's a hard job defending a country.
