Why do people keep moving from blue states and cities to other states that are red states and red cities? But yet continue to vote what you escaped?

Where you sleep at night doesn’t dictate your political ideology. People who move from red states to a blue one by in large don’t change how they vote

Yes, and that level of disconnect is merely the tip of the iceberg.

That said, a lot of those people AREN'T voting for the "same thing" and it's actually the college-age people who are pushing it harder because despite a total lack of self awareness or experience, they think they know best.

Blue cities tend to be overpopulated. That's what they are leaving. The policies are why they are overpopulated and the reason is because those policies were good. So they still want those good policies, just with less people.
