I predominantly know him as a major political philosopher that significantly aided the world we have today. I don't agree with natural rights but we'd be a poorer place without Voltaire, Locke and Swift. We just need to look at Cromwell.

I think his bushy hair and lip balm were too much. can you imagine men dressing like that and styling like that today 😂 anyway I have no idea who that man is he looks like he belongs on an American coin or dollar. I can see his shoes with heels even without seeing the bottom part of him in this photo lol

I think you mean Voltaire was born on this date. If he was born today, he would have to gine travel back to his era.
What do I think of him? Half of the French team (with Ampere) that have electrical measurements named after them.

He was a wonderful philosopher who changed the political landscape forever.
Apparently he didn't say that to figure out who is in charge, simply figure out who you aren't allowed to criticize but that sounds a lot like something he would say.
