Why is Biden's administration (& I'm assuming followers) being called a regime?

I keep seeing conservative media like newsmax and fox news and the like call Biden's administration a regime. Is there a reason they do this (no matter if its true or not) or is it JUST a polarization term pushed by the media?

Because it is. The dictionary definition is "a government, especially an authoritarian one."
The Biden Administration has limited our personal freedoms more than any other , even during WW2. The FBI has been turned into the KGB and political adversaries are routinely thrown into jail sometimes without even being charged with a crime.
Elections are a sham and alternative candidate s are indicted on made up charges and are tried in courts set up ti fing him guilty regardless of the facts.

That's MAGA-heads projecting what Trump has openly said he is going to do if elected. Biden has made no great change in the Federal government. Trump has been indicted on 91 felony counts, but (according to Trump), he's just being persecuted. If you listen to his followers, they all feel practiced too. If Trump is elected or will be the end of American democracy. He's already said that he wants to suspend the Constitution and burn down the Federal government.

when did he say he wants to suspend the constitution. Democrats' use the constitution to wipe their butts with. Biden just had taxpayers pay off the student loans of 183,000 students even though the Supreme Court ruled he did not have the authority to do it. They said it was unconstitutional and it had to go through the legislature. Yet he did it anyway and since he controls the DOJ he doesn't have to worry about getting arrested.

That's probably most of what this is. It's like how the head of narcotics policy is called a "czar", rather then a "secretary"; so they don't sound noble or good.

Or, if you're my brother at age five, because they're the leader of the opposite side in the drug war; "the President of drugs", as it were.

President Donald Trump’s administration is taking on the characteristics of a tottering regime" from CNN. other left/left leaning sources have used the term.
plus many people on the left/center call Trump admin/supporters cult-like, too. (understandable tbh)
