My mind is usually occupied with a million things at once. There are times when I focus on something so much that I completely ignore what I'm doing and what's happening around me.

This results in funny incidents, like searching for glasses that are on my nose or a phone that I'm holding in my hand.

Unfortunately, the consequences of such lack of attention can be more serious. Leaving a bag with a newly purchased jacket at the bus stop or a purse with documents in a locker at the pool. Unfortunately, I experienced both and more lol

Let's play. You get off the bus/train/ferry/Uber, and as the vehicle that brought you here departs, you realize you don't have your phone. What do you do? What's the first thing that comes to your mind? Please describe what's happening in your head.

I'll add that for me, such a situation is a disaster. My smartphone is everything to me... a payment card, a ticket for public transport throughout Germany, and a phone with access to the internet and G@G :D
