Your partner borrowed your car and you get back into it with the tank on empty with the warning light on. What would you do?

If the sex is good go fill up the tank & don’t say a word but if she tells you a strange brake light is on leave her.
When you are hurting for cash , you must say fill the tank where it was in the future or no car anymore for you. if they can't agree to this don't allow it, hide the keys if you must. $50 fill ups are costly. A co-woorker of mine asked me for gas money to taake me home. We lived on the same block he didn't go out of his way. I refused he made me take the bus. Pretty cruel in my opinion. I cost him no more than his trip without me
@joeND If you are hurting for cash it’s totally understandable & in that case the person who borrowed the car shouldn’t of left the car on empty. As for your coworker he has every right to ask for gas money especially if it happens more than once & to be honest you should of gave him a few bucks. No one likes a mooch & or coworkers that ask for rides all the time.
I now wish i offered my bus fare, but gas was 60¢ back then a gallon. I would never ask him for money if i was going home anyway. II never asked aa friend for gas money , but at age 16-25 money was scarce, hard to afford gas. I had bigger fish to fry. Like a summer rental I rented with 10 friends and only 3 friends gave me money. I was stuck for most of the money. Then I am the bad guy when I throw the free loaders out.
Nothing she’s a female I just go to the gas station and give her a nice little talking to about next time don’t run me out on dry but if it’s a male buddy I’m gonna give them a scolding What the heck did you do? Leaving me on empty like this it cost me $80 to fill this Truck up
Well for sure it would be the last time he borrowed my vehicle. And yes I would confront him.
oh i'll definitely not be quiet about this and would speak to him about it asap
Why?
because that's pretty rude?

I wouldn't lend someone my car in the first place. Since I bought it new in 2013 I haven't let anyone drive it.
I'd also ask how was their road trip and think maybe the car does need tuning if it was going through so much petrol.
I’d be curious what errand she was running, 3/4 of a rank is good for about 7-800km in my truck.
I’d be upset and probably never let him borrow it again.
Lesson learnt. It’s my responsibility to allow another person to use my vehicle.
My car is my baby, shouldn't be abusin my time like that. Wouldn't want to get stranded
Stop loning them the car
