I have never been there but bought into the whole Beach Boys thing. When I was in college my goal was to work in Silicon Valley once I graduated. Now I have no desire to ever go there. It's more like an open sore.

I was on a board for my high school and freshman and sophomore college years. East coast, often Cocoa beach. Along the way, I learned that Dennis Wilson was the only one ever on a board. Soon I will live in Florida again. In many ways, it is what I wanted Cal to be. But I will be a spectator.
