Do you know people who are members of Freemasonry?

I knew a couple of guys who left Freemasonry. It was hilarious to hear the rumours about them afterwards - his mental health issues, his wife's affair, his business failing. All totally untrue unless twins and a 7 figure income are failures. Lost touch with them but last I heard both had just celebrated 35 years marriage and were retired.
My dad's uncle was.
We never knew until he died. When cleaning out his house we found various suits and books that confirmed it.
It made sense how he didn't have a job, or a family, yet always had enough money to go to the casino.
That's so weird! I was getting a coffee today and a guy recognised the ring! And they got talking.
My boyfriend's dad, my brother in law and my grandfather are masons. My boyfriend will probably will be one soon, yay 🙃

My great uncle was. He said his dad (my great grandfather) was excommunicated from the Catholic Church and disowned by his brothers and sisters for being a member. A couple of my friends are members. I don't know anything about it, though. I know they are big on networking.
Two. One was pretty adamant about recruiting me. I didn't agree with their philosophy sufficiently so it wouldn't have worked out.
One of my techs was a Mason. He was always trying to get me to join. I used to tell him that I would not want to join any group that would have him as a member.
not that I know of.

My grandfather was a high level member in the freemasonry before he left during the civil war!
He rarely talked to us about it and didn't like to bring this subject in front of him...
