Are humans deep down naturally selfish opportunistic bullies who abuse power once they get it?

Martial artists, the world's most powerful people, tend to be school bullies, contract-killers, rapist, drug dealers, pimps, thieves, wife-beaters, and people who abuse and beat their children and other kids.

Naturally selfish, yes. The rest? Not likely, it depends on the person.

Selfishness is like a survival instinct humans have.

After all, thousands of years ago, when survival depended on hunting and gathering, you had to prioritize your own needs just to keep going and make sure you wouldn't get yourself killed.

But in today's world, being a bit selfish is often just looking out for yourself chasing happiness and security, which is kinda like self-love. But when it comes to relationships, putting someone first could mean you're really connected or in love. It's like our survival instincts have evolved to include caring for each other, but figuring out how to balance "me time" and caring for others is still a tricky dance in our lives.

Exactly. Everything you wrote is pretty accurate. Especially, in Western countries like America, most people aren't good with some rare exceptions (Maybe out of 10 people, you might find 1-2 good people max..) You'll be treated good, only if you have money, are rich and/or good-looking and young and people can gain something from you... Not only humans have no respect for each other and mistreat, instead of supporting and embracing/helpings the weaker ones, they also have no respect for the environment they live in, which is eventually is going to be their downfall one day..

No. Look at the device you sent that with taking 100s of people working to together so make a screen or operating system. That then goes out to the internet basically humanity digital hub world that connect just you and i just know.

While the internet connection needs upwards of millions of people to maintain. Don't forget the thousands of years of history that created language.

I can go on for days if not years but we are as humanity in this together for the better good. The challenges are just the fun parts of life.
