Do you think people on GAG reflect real life or are they a minority?

I think it depends on the topic. For questions of dating, relationships and hobbies I would say yes. Though the number of users is probably not as high as on other plattforms.
In the terms of political, social questions I would say no since most people on here seem conservative in politics on here and I would therefore assume they represent a minority in real life.

I´ve always learned that conservatives are in numbers the minority since more people live in the cities and they are more likely progressive.
But if that´s wrong it´s a one sided political spectrum on here which can create problems if you want to get different answers to a question.

I think G@G represents a hyperbolized version of real life. Yes the women in real life are really this icky and shallow. Yes the men in real life are really this exploitative and shallow. But IRL people are more apt to hide behind a mask since they can't hide behind a computer screen.

The reminder of the extremes that come up. The big one is even the group being asked to take sides over Gaza. If I was looking for a heavy debate I'd go to Twitter. I come here for a laugh. Gaza isn't funny.
