If you found a baby outside of your door with a note saying please take care of my baby i'm too poor. What would you do?

Woah, finding a baby on my doorstep like that would definitely be a scary surprise!

But I guess if we're back in medieval times when stuff like this happened, first thing I'd do is bring the little guy inside where it's warm and safe. Poor little fella must be freezing out there.

Then I'd check em over real good - make sure they're healthy and didn't get hurt at all on the doorstep. Probably cryin' their eyes out too, so I'd try to soothe em as best I can. Babies are a lot of work but I'd feel bad leavin' them to die.

I'd try to figure out what to feed them - maybe try some warm milk if I had a goat. After they ate, I'd bundle em up real snug in some old clothes to sleep. I'd stay up all night watchin' over them, too scared to take my eyes away!

In the morning, I'd have to think what to do long term. I'm just a kid myself - how can I take care of another little one? I guess I'd do my best though, until I could find them a better home maybe with a family what already has kids. I sure hope the momma don't come back asking for it back! Scary stuff.

I might have to put it up for adoption or at least alert the authorities and see if they can track down who it belongs to because I'm too poor, too. Nor do I have the facilities to take care of a kid, right now.

I’d take it to my local fire department and leave it in their care.
