I've been hearing the drum beats and talk of either Israel or the US cutting off the head of the snake? Will it happen?

I have family members serving in the military, and they say it doesn't look good. I'm not too worried about the snake, but I'm worried about the snake's allies. I figure that China will immediately go after Taiwan. Russia will be too busy with Ukraine. And Europe will have no choice to go after the snake, because if Israel goes down, Europe is next in line.

The US can’t go in to do such things without major pushback from Russia, China, and a good chunk of the global south. Though the US is still the most powerful country on earth; it is not all powerful.

This is how countries have had to operate throughout human history: in a measured way, considering the global fallout and pushback from rivals and coalitions of other powers. The US being the world’s sole superpower for 20 years was an historical anomaly. We’re back to normal now
