Why do some Christians not want LGBT people to adopt children? ?

It is not related with religion. If you don't think about children psychology and if you look only from lgbt perspective, everything looks normal like a pet adoption. But if you think about children psychology, they can't adopt children. Because it is not a pet adoption. Children need a father and a mother which means one real male and one real female. Children want a real father love and at the same time real mother love. But when both of them become male or female, can they give real love to those children? Definitely impossible. And think about those children. They will always feel a real father or mother love, they will suffer from it. Also some male children take their father as an example and they want to be like their father. Some female children take their mother as an example and want to be like their mother. When both of them are single gender, what will happen? A ruined life for those children. So, children adoption is not a pet adoption. You can't just say "ok, we want to adopt a children". You have to meet some needs to adopt a child. The basic needs are to be a male father and female mother. It is not true or real even if you feel yourself as a man although you are female, or opposite... If lgbts think about children's psychology and their future, they should stay away from adopting children. Also, I heard that some of them marry and since they can't give birth, they "sleep" with an external man or opposite and become pregnant or get child. This is not right, not fair for the child! Briefly, if they can't give birth by marrying with each other and if they are not looking physically like a real man and woman, they should stay away from children for the sake and future of children...

If you don't want to have children, why do you want to have other people's children? It's a pretty basic question... You could have chosen to marry some woman and have kids together or you could have done some sort of surrogate arrangement with your own sperm and some woman in the LGBTQ community... Instead you want access to other people's children... That's pretty suspect. I've seen a lot of cases of gay men sex trafficking foster children to other gay pedophiles in the LGBTQ+ community. So the obvious concern is for the children's safety. Many times those who adopt children, either adopt someone that is related to them due to a family issue like a sudden death or long term incarceration which is merciful. Or it's typically an infertile straight couple that wanted to have their own children but it wasn't physically possible. You on the other hand could have a child assuming you are fertile and have choose not you... You just want access to other people's children... Why?

I don't think it depends on religion...

From my perspective, love is love, and kids need a lot of love and attention. So, if people want to adopt kids, it should be an available option for them if they can provide a stable and loving environment.

but...

There are countries (I'm ashamed, but Poland is among them) where lgbt is not accepted. And in such places, I would suggest lgbt pairs NOT adopt kids. It's still not allowed in Poland, but even if it was... It would be a horror for those adopted kids. They would be ostracised, bullied, put outside of their peer group and so on by both kids and adults.

There are places where lgbt pairs must think not only about what they want but also about the life they want to offer those children...

Let's say two men got married and wanted to adopt children. What sex do they choose, boy or girl? And the thought of them adopting either gender causes me to cringe at what that child will be like as an adult one day.

Remember when Americans who wanted to adopt children and they had to go all the way to adopt Chinese babies? I wonder if that is still going on? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The same reason they don't want criminals and paedophiles to adopt children. They will not only abuse them, but turn the children into mules and allies for themselves and their ilk.

Im a christian myself I say we shouldn't judge but be kind andnpray for them they had child trauma. Lets be kind I a not God to decide who is savevor so what. I am kind to gay people scripting states weare no one to judge

Those who are going after Christian children are Christians themselves. Use logic, among pedophilia cases, Christians are more involved. Most sexual abuse happens within the family, usually uncles, cousins, brothers and parents. Most families are Christian. In fact, do I need to talk about the countless cases of religious people, priests and pastors involved in pedophilia? I don't think I need to, because one thing everyone knows is that every month absurd pedophilia scandals involve Christians.
Christians do not need to worry about LGBT people, as wolves are already in greater numbers among Christians.
