Does everyone now belong to a 'community'?

I was just looking at another question here, and the one asking it said she belonged to the LGBTQetc community. Aren't we still individuals though? I thought we were. Guess I was wrong.

We are still individuals, but we all belong to a community somehow. Humans can't survive alone. For instance if you have a family, your family is your community. If you believe in a religion, you're part of a community. If you work for a company and you have coworkers, you're also part of a community. If you live in a neighbourhood you're part of a community too.
There are many communities in the world.

Yes, those two sentences can co-exist. You can still be an a individual but be part of a community.
