Sure, its just another word you can use for a community. Scientists and philosophers regularly uses the word "tribe" to refer to for example supporters of a sports team or any group with a unified identity that extends beyond the intimidate family.

The choice to use "Tribe" over "Community" is mostly just semantics because they essentially mean the same thing.

Trust me when I say "here that semantic distinction is a considerable one". here there is pressure to join a clan. They operate like gangs. If you aren't part of their clan, they don't want you to date their daughter, work at their business, etc.

I think you may have a far more innocuous view of this concept compared to my reality.

How is that any different from people who are heavily invested in their religion or their sports team or even their village refusing to date/spend time or whatever outside of their own group? All that happens constantly within insular communities.

First, It's different because it is hidden.

Where I live the so-called "Thousands/M" culture is an oppressive force that has dominated the area for longer than I know. This toxic subculture is everywhere in this country, but few seem to know about it.

Many have effectively lost out on a normal life because of this hidden and bigoted "culture".

Secondly, we need to begin to rid our country of these insular communities. Open them up. Learn what new and awful forms or insularism are lurking therein.

They are historically the source of the majority of what is wrong with America (and probably other nations as well) racism, religious bigotry, etc. have always found hiding places in small communities.

What you are asking is basically to go against human instinct. Forming these "tribes" is natural for us which is why it happens so often. Even politics has a tribalistic nature such as how a MAGA and a Democrat is extremely unlikely to actually get along in a relationship and are known to actually physically assault one another.

I highly doubt that. From my point of view you are a fairly misguided person, I have simply refrained from mentioning it or holding it against you so far in this conversation. The things you consider the "correct path" is almost definitely something I want no part of for moral reasons not to mention just pure logic.

Try growing up in this kind of community, then perhaps you would.
No job opportunities.
No public transportation.
No normal socialization.
No opportunities to date.
A monolithic culture with no room for anyone else.
