Do you believe in multiple truths or is there only one truth?

That means everyone sees reality, events, and actions of others from their own unique perspective. So, the truths can be different

I don't think they were referring to truth. I think they were referring to opinions which is vastly different from truth.
Opinion can be based on feelings or facts. But the truth is or isn't the truth.

So how can reality be different for two people that are observing it? One has to be the truth

Can you give me an example where both people observe one event but walk away with two different truths?

We perceive reality through the filter of our experiences. That's why we see things differently.

A man who hits a woman will be seen as an abuser or as someone who just got angry. It depends on the experiences of the audience

That wasn't an example of somebody seeing the same thing in walking away with a different truth. All you said was a man hit a woman and both people agreed that he hit somebody. How he felt doesn't have anything to do with the truth of the girl being hit.

So I'm still waiting for an example of two people experiencing two different truths

Those are two different truths. It's a common case in criminal psychology. What do you think testimonies would look like?

One will talk about abuse, body damage and so on, and another about raised emotions and aggressive body language but NOT body abuse...

But isn't the point of a court of law is to come to a single truth? Two truths that are contradictory to one another cannot be right. That's why you're either proven, guilty or innocent. You can't be both..

@islathewitch not necessarily an abuser. Maybe that's your experience. But lot of people will consider his reason for doing so. There are definitely some who will judge him harshly.

The judge will present one truth, while every witness will have their own. They won't be convinced because they believe more in what they have seen with their own eyes than the words of someone else.

I think holding the belief that there is more than one truth. Ultimately leaves the idea that there is no truth. And if there is no truth then there are no lies. Which is something I expect a witch to believe.
