I think so. Her mother kept her imprisoned with faked records and emotionally stunted. She did conspire to brutally kill her mother. Think it’s been 6-7 years of a 10 yr sentence.

It was a very brutal murder. I agree with your points but still think the conviction was just.

This is probably the weirdest true crime case. But this chick did convince a mentally unstable guy (via sex) to murder her mother and even handed him the knife…so I think a few years in lockup with therapy hopefully was prob a good thing.

Yeah personally I don't think she shoud have walked, but i've seen LESS f'ed up people walk that didn't go through a tenth of what she did.

Not really sure on the actual killing but it's not unheard of for abuse victims to snap and commit murder.

Yeah it’s complex…this chick was abused severely by her mother. And she tried running away but the cops just sent her back because her mom claimed she was underage. And forged paperwork.

So it was literal imprisonment and torture. But like abused people, they go 100% into the red.

I have no worries about someone who killed their abuse mother living in a society.
I only worry about ones that kill innocent people so I am happy for her release.
