Conservatives, would you get checked if they discovered racism was a curable problem?

If it was discovered that when some part of the brain, say the midbrain or pons, was damaged it was 100% correlated with racist thoughts, and they had a single pill that could fix the damage, would you get screened for and take the pill if you were positive?

No, I wouldn't let myself be screened because I don't want to know

I already know the results would show damage so wouldn't bother getting screened and don't want to take the pill lest it turn me into a liberal

I would get screened because I'm confident the results would show no damage but wouldn't take the pill if there was damage because I don't want to risk becoming a liberal

I'm tired of being angry and afraid all the time so I would take the pill even if it turned me into a liberal.

Please note this question does not suggest that liberals can not be racist. Rather it assumes that if a liberal is racist of course they would want to cure themselves.

So, the question behind the question here assumed that if there was a way to say "nothing I say or do can be racist because I took a pill that makes that impossible" liberals would overwhelmingly jump on that opportunity. I wasn't sure if conservatives would too or if they thought it was more important that racism continue to be accessible as a motive. Judging by the responses and votes I'll never understand why but it seems like the latter is the case.

The idea is it is actually the opposite. If they found that racism was due to damaged tissue and a pill repaired it. But I suppose it is true if part of who you are was living in that damaged tissue then you're basically killing that part of yourself by repairing it.

So you assume that liberals wouldn't want to be racist, but many of them ARE racist and will argue all day long that they are not. Because racism is a bad thing and they can't possibly have any bad qualities; therefore, they can't be racist. It is just a name that liberals call conservatives whenever they have a disagreement. However, liberals are not opposed to some form of "thought police" because they have an inherent trust in the government to make us "better."

Conservatives don't trust the government and are opposed to any measures that increase government power in the absence of compelling necessity.

The hypothetical premise to the question is that a simple test shows it is a condition they do have. From what I have seen in my country, the "Progressive" people, although being the loudest speaking about race, are the most racist. The more conservative families have mixed marriages whilst the progressive people tend to only marry within their own ethnicity.
