Why do people speed up when you put your turn single on?

I know when you're merging each vehicle is required to let one person over, but I don't know if that applies to just a lane change. Annoying af. Sometimes I have to stay in the left to get on the freeway, because even though I'm going 10 plus over the speed limit some asshole is still going to speed on past me as soon as i put my turn indicator on.

They do it to tell you that they (referred to as a-h’s) are in charged of the road

Turn signals sure cause more problems than they solve it seems. It's all these damn office workers that drive like assholes so they can get home as soon as possible. As someone that drives at all hours of the day I swear between 4-6:30pm it's like a fight to stay alive on the road lol

Try walking your dog in a housing area during those hours. lol

You mean like a regular neighborhood?

Yes in a 15mph zone but yet they have to travel 30 to 50 mph to get home faster. Really what are they going to accomplish in getting home 1 or 2 minutes sooner.

In the middle of the day people will do 35mph in a 55mph zone. So annoying on a 2 lane rd and you have like 8 miles ahead of you.

There at least one pedestrian killed each week in housing area and crosswalk where we live. Forget road rage that averages three a week and what’s bad sometimes it leads into gunfire, so you don’t want to piss off someone even if you’re right.
