Even in my teens I used to speed a lot cause I like speeding, pushing the car to check it's power, to check my control over situations etc it was (and still is) more of a passion.
The only difference between then and now is that I speed on expressways but am not reckless that I may have been during my younger years.
No I never sped to impress anyone. But yes there were guys who used to do it to impress girls. Problem is guys like me who never gave a damn landed most of the girls while those trying to impress wound up doing it all the while w/o ever knowing if the girls were impressed or were mocking them etc lol

No, I don't. Speeding/ maneuvers are reserved for male bonding time. BUT.. One time I took a girl out. I usually drive responsibly on dates, to make a good impression and all. But she was tturned off by this and called my gramps and made fun of me therest of the nnight. So maybe some girls like the crazy driving?

I used to get aroused when my boyfriend sped down long, scenic roads... until we got in a wreck. Now, sharp corners make my heart tense up and if people speed with me in the car, I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Awww yeah. But it still must have been traumatic for you :( The positive is that you learned it isn't good to speed. Which is good. But still it's sad that you went through that :( I know I learned when I was 16 and thought I was all "bad" by speeding but it was all fun and games until I sped around the bend and I spun out into the other lane because of me speeding around the bend. Luckily it was like 2 am and nobody was out, but if there was a car I would have gotten into a bad accident definitely.

I've been driving since I was 5 so driving is like breathing to me. I lived in the country and had all kinds of toys to play with. This is how I would entertain myself. Now I naturally drive fast and crazy because that's how I've been driving all my life. So I drive crazy whether I'm by myself or not. If anything, I drive faster and crazier if I'm by myself. Also family and friends aren't scared when they're with me, they know how I drive.

I don't speed, but sometimes it's fun to accelerate really hard and watch their reaction. It's exciting, I'd never do it in a location where it was dangerous or illegal.

Yup. Having a nice car with a turbo or a bike, it's part of the fun and it's also good for the engine to push it hard every now and then. Usually on a bike I'd warn her to hold on tight before I did it, but if you're joining a highway or something from traffic lights it is indeed thrilling to open the throttle, and go from zero up to highway speed as quickly as possible. In a manual car you leave it in a lower gear longer, in an auto car you stomp your foot down to use the kickdown which does the same thing, and you get a surge of power and and an awesome noise.
At school there also are plenty of people that speed when im waiting for the bus. Defs the ones with custom made cars.

I don't do it to impress anyone lol. I don't know why I speed to be honest, I'll be driving in 35 mph zone and not even realize I'm going 40-45 or 50. It still feels like I'm going pretty slow.

They ride fast only , but when with a girl they are trying to impress yeah they may ride a bit faster its normal, and your point of fancy maneuvers, that is especially done for girl, but still sometime you might find someone doing some fancy maneuvers , to just practice so he can do it perfectly when he need if he is a rookie driver , not for a girl or to impress.
Buy guy should go fast or do fancy maneuvers when around girls but she is outside car but when she is inside the car he should keep that in mind , if he plays with car to impress he she will feel giddy and might vomit , you girls are mostly not hardcore , riding and hardcore racing girls can be barely found.

I stand by my word and who I am, and I am NOT like that in any way, shape , or form. I know a LOT of girls who think the same as me. And I know a lot of girls who only base guys off of money, cars and their luxuries. But I still stand by my statement, and I am not one of those type of girls. I really don't value a guy based on the type of car he drives.
Again if the guy drove by in a BMW or Porsche you'd be all over him and you'd probably show more interest in that type of guy then a guy driving a 1996 Dodge Neon And don't say you dated a guy with a 96 Neon my mother had one and they were lemons. I never had a GF because I'm not good looking or have a nice or even have my drivers licence.
Again, I am not impressed by those luxuries. Yes, they are nice, but if there is a guy I have a connection with and he's driving a beater, and the other guy I don't have a connection with but he has a really luxurious car, I am going to go for the guy that has the beater because I have connection to HIM not the guy with the luxury car because that' not what I am after. It's a plus, definitely, but it's not important or the main thing I look for in a guy, personally, myself.
