But at the end of the day, if your head administrator isn't disciplined properly for plagiarism, you won't be able to do it to anyone else. And plagiarism does still matter, even if universities are often loath to do anything about it when someone significant is found to have committed it.

It's not complicated- calls for genocide are never protected speech. Calls for genocide of Jews do occur on Poison Ivy campuses, and anyone with any sense of decency would oppose them and discipline those calling for genocide, especially given the genocide and other violence Jews have suffered and the awful campus environment they create. But since Jews are a group of people you clearly disdain, you try to hide behind "free speech". Never mind that speech at Harvard is less free than at any other university, i. e., it doesn't have free speech unless it's extreme leftist rants.

You know, we aren't going to get a transparent and thorough statement from Harvard, although they should have in this instance. That said, what evidence is there that Gay was let go because of anti-Semitism at Harvard? That anti-Semitism was part of larger institutional failures at Harvard, where a hostile atmosphere has developed at the behest of far-left crazies, and it doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything about that hostile atmosphere.

It's silly for you to pretend there was no plagiarism. And a university has a serious ethical problem if its President has committed plagiarism as well as a serious image problem when it tries to enforce its anti-plagiarism policy. That's not "cancel culture", that's accountability for a serious set of infractions for which undergrads get disciplined, not made top administrators.

And your beloved Gay was a bully, including of some black male scholars, in addition to her plagiarism of Carol Swain, who's a prominent black scholar. She had plenty of black victims.
