Yes, Both should step down, but CLAUDINE GAY especially as she got the job even though she plagiarised most of her course work and her dissertation, what makes even more egregious is that Harvard Administration knew about because they had investigated and found the plagiarism during their vetting process for the post, this has now put the future of Harvard graduates in jeopardy as their future employers are now going to wonder if they actually did the work to get their degrees or did they follow the example of Gay and plagiarised other peoples work.
As for SALLY KORNBLUTH who is Jewish, she should have known better than to blindly follow DEI policies (which it should never have been in place in the first place as MIT should be run on MERIT, not a set of spurious diktats which have nothing to do with 'equality') which are more exclusive than inclusive.
As for those who say they should NOT be fired think on this - What would you reaction be if "Transgender" or “Black”was substituted for "Jew" in the question posed by Rep. Elise Stefanik
"Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate [your university’s] code of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?"
You know that The Presidents Gay, Magill and Kornbluth would have shut it down the marches etc with an Iron Fist, that not in doubt.

Fuck congress for being lackeys for Israel. Many of them are dual citizens who are more loyal to Israel than the USA.
Zionism should be declared a terrorist ideology. AIPAC and all pro-Israel organizations and supporters should be declared agents of a foreign government.
The truth about Zionism and the factual history of Israel and Palestine should be taught in schools.35 Reply- +1 y
That's not gonna happen anytime soon when the US government is super pro Israel

+1 yI'm on the side of no right now, but I'm listening...
I'd rather have people saying things out loud in a parking lot than in a hidden room, that's why.
I don't agree with this "cancel" people mentality and mind control. The question and the issue of speech vs threat is an interesting one.
Realize what's said is problematic depending upon the audience. Someone attempted to exterminate Jews... so they are highly sensitive to such speech and as well, apparently, had been threatened on campuses... just for being Jews. So yea... it's an issue to protect their security.
But I'm not aware of anyone actually making such statements and threats, so it sounded hypothetical. People get angry and when they do... they say stupid crap. I'd rather hear their stupid crap, and work to correct it.
Now there are declarations that are made with intent. like "lets go kill those...". that is a problem and shut down. That's action, just not expressing feelings. That's the thing... emotional problems can turn into physical problems.
Words are like swords... people need to learn that... Biblical truth. I can see whyat times Jesus did not even respond, for some of speech... is a trap.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThey should absolutely be fired. Can you imagine if there were protestors on these campuses calling for the genocide of African Americans and these people answered the questions during a hearing about that in the same way these women did?
Can you imagine if Sally Kornbluth was asked "is calling for the genocide of African Americans against MIT's policies?", and she answered "it depends on the context"? She would be in jail already, if not dead.
How is ANYONE not outraged at the double standards of these women and these institutions? Harvard is a disgusting cesspool of bigotry but they don't get judged for it by the mainstream because the victims of their igotry are not the pet "victims" of the left.

+1 yKeep Claudine Gay and let Harvard go bankrupt. Seriously they have already lost hundreds of millions of dollars in endowments after all this bs went down as they should. Let them bleed more and bleed to death.
Seriously I want to see woke Ivy League colleges go broke from being so woke. Claudine gay would of vanished overnight if she wasn’t intersectional.
The irony is Jewish people have voted heavily democrat for decades. They subsidized a deranged culture that now wants to start another Holocaust. If this doesn’t wake up leftist Jews then I do no know what will. Claudine Gay refuses to acknowledge calls to genocide. If you chant “to the river to the sea” it means you want all Jews dead. It’s not about territory. It’s about Jew hatred.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI haven't watched the testimony so I can't say that what the Columbia pres said was any worse than what the other two did. From what I gather from what little I've read there wasn't a huge difference that way. So from my understanding, the reason the Columbia chick got canned is that there was something north of $100 million that was going to go away from the school if she stayed on. Given that private universities in the US are primarily GIGANTIC financial endowments, the main job of the president and the trustees is to safeguard that investment. When the president's conduct puts that giant pile of cash in jeopardy she needs to go. That was clearly the case at Columbia and she'd gone as a result.
It's not clear to me that a similar $$ threat exists yet at Harvard or MIT. But if it does, they'll go too. If not, then they'll probably stay.
10 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Trending & News topic. Yes, they have to go and the government needs to stop funding to any college or University that are nothing but indoctrination centers. Harvard is probably the worst offender and the fish rots from the head down.
Personally if I had a choice to hire somebody for my department from Harvard and somebody who went to a state school and had to work two jobs to pay for it, I would pick the kid from the state school every time.
10 Reply853 opinions shared on Trending & News topic. No. Quite the opposite. They should be lauded for not bowing to unnecessary pressure, and being honest and open to boot.
It seems the USA is pretentious about "freedom of speech". You can say what you like, just not about Israel...

Kornbluth, no. If she had not followed DEII policies she would have been out of a job very quickly. People are not going to get themselves fired because they disagree with your politics.01 Reply- 399 opinions shared on Trending & News topic.
+1 yNo, they should each donate their 2023 salaries to an Anti-Defamation charity organization, attend sensitivity training, and then address the entire student body and explain why genocide is bad.
00 Reply It doesn't matter to me. Those institution have already lost their reputation and relevance. It doesn't really matter what they do at this point.

+1 yIt's a bad look for Ivy League presidents to say basically the same things Nazi's and the KKK say. Jewish alumni might want to allocate their donations to institutions that do not wish for their own peoples demise.
00 Reply544 opinions shared on Trending & News topic. I don't care what they do. They're both puppets and making an example of them isn't going to change either broken institution.
