The Biden administration has been a clusterfuck.

The commercial, itself, was carefully scripted to be devoid of content. Just a bunch of disingenuous, feel-good platitudes: "Preserving democracy... free and fair elections... the power of 'we the people', bla, bla bla." Golly, how lofty, bold, inspiring!

But then there is the fear mongering. The threat of "extremism", and the need to combat it.
Oh, so different views and opinions are a threat to democracy? They are dangerous and must be rooted out? WTF kind of democracy is that?

9/11 was when fear was first used to subvert the constitution and gain control of America. It provided the means to enact the War Powers Act and enforce control over the population under the pretext of fighting an endless war against an amorphous enemy called "terrorism". Terrorism may be lurking in your closet or under your bed! To be safe, you must surrender your liberty to Big Brother, who has your best interests at heart.

The ploy worked. It worked so well that the Democratic party adopted fear as its primary weapon in subverting democracy after the 2015 election of Donald Trump. They demonized him to the extent of instilling TDS (Trump derangement syndrome) in many leftists. It has been their primary weapon of control ever since. All non-Democrats are characterized as far right radicals. And now we have "insurrectionists".

Fear was used again in 2020 to curtail even more liberty under the guise of fighting a "pandemic". Again, an amorphous enemy that is everywhere!

I have a negative view of Biden period, and Democrats in general, what keeps good people from office is the news media, they build you ùp in beginning of your run for office, while at same time going over your life like Sherlock Holmes, trying to find any negative thing they can and start the testing down of you, now many people care to or want to expose their family that way, sand that puts a lot of good people of from running for office and why we keep getting these dinosaurs who still think it's 1800, s well that's an insult to politicians in 1800, back then they did give a damn about the country
