We reached peak wokeness and leftism a while back and the things that came along with it created a repulsion in the next generation.

If you notice most last gen Z and early zoomers are growing up to be for less liberal than the previous generation thus restoring an element of balance in social standards.

I would say there is hard to pinpoint a single "biggest" threat, as they often intersect and exacerbate each other. Personally I believe, the ongoing impact of climate change, poses a serious threat to the planet and human civilization. Two-three years ago, the pandemic and infectious diseases had devastating consequences and if not the vaccines were effectively managed, it could have been a big threat. Other futuristic pandemics (?). Cybersecurity could be one, if attacks are done towards the internet as whole...

I rolled my eyes when I saw 'woke culture' as an example but after some thought, yeah our modern socio-political attitudes are destroying us. People are losing their jobs if they say things others don't like. That right there is dystopian. We are being forced to maintain the same opinion and if we don't, we face condemnation. When everyone is being bred the same perspective, there is no point in a democracy.

In a round-a-bout way I agree with you. I think laziness is our biggest threat. There has always been a ruling class and there has always been a working class. But what happens when society becomes so bloated and weak that they don't want to work and move society forward anymore?
