I'm not a huge fan, but he wasn't a terrible president. That doesn't mean that I didn't strongly disagree with some of his appointments and policies. But he was certainly better than Dubya, Obama and Biden.

Out of the 2024 field of candidates, I think he is the best choice, which ain't sayin' much. I think it's essential to keep the Dems from winning and completing the destruction of this country.

Plus, it will bring me the greatest joy to watch Democrat's and "woke" liberal's heads explode.

The Trump getting back into power was discussed on a Political tv programme here. one thing that was mentioned was that in his last term he was kept in check by those around him, some of whom reduced his more dramatic ideas. This time around it’s believed he will only have those that think the same as him and will do everything He personally wants without any restraint from those around him.

He's tried to do all of the things you mentioned and has succeeded to some extent in all of them, although they were reversed by Biden when he took office. Additionally, Trump has deteriorated mentally since he has been criminally charged and because of that, his underlying psychiatric illness is now more obvious than it was previously. That illness is not going to simply go away on its own and certainly will not go away if he winds up getting elected.

@msc545 I think Biden's brain is only running on 29 Watts. I have been paying attention to how Trump has performed since he decided to run again. He has lost weight and he looks in top health. He has all his marbles too Cognitive decline varies greatly between individuals. Trump Is extremely high functioning. Despite running a campaign and fight multiple indictments as well as relentless attacks from the media and other Democrat operatives he is still functioning at a high level. His opponent on the other hand is able to put in maybe a 3 hour workday before needing a 3 day weekend. And has has already said he will not campaign and will not debate anyone. This just screams that he is not up to the job

@milyjohn So far it's 8 to 7 against, which is likely to be the result in the general election. Trump lost by seven million votes in 2020. If he is on the ballot in 2024 I'm predicting ten million. There are about 18 million newly eligible voters (18-22). The youth vote is not on Trump's side.

But so what? We know the base turns out, but the Iowa electorate does not reflect national sentiment. It's going to come down to the upper Midwest, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona. If the Democrats keep reminding the voters of the Republican position on abortion, it's going to be tough for Republicans to win. Not even the deep red states are with the Republicans on this. They lost in Kansas. They lost in Ohio. They lost in Wisconsin.

@slatyb Trump is ahead in most of the so called swing states and most by double digits. Many states have limited mail in ballots and Republixans will be watching for fraud. The 14th amendment claim will be overturned bu the Supreme Court and Hunter will be questioned next month.
