Yes, of course.
In 2020, I was the first in line to vote at my polling place. I was there at 5 AM. I wanted to put a nail in the Trump Administration's coffin. In my red state, it didn't matter of course, but my loathing of this rat bastard needed to be expressed.
I'm going to do the same in 2024.
Are you gonna vote for Biden?
@behnam1999 I will not vote for Trump. I've watched that asshole for 50 years and he is who he is as he showed on the debate: A lying charlatan who blames others for everything and deflects when targeted (like by not answering the question he was asked).
Meanwhile, Biden may not be the DEM candidate by Election Day.
Trump may be in prison on Election Day.
So, for all we know, both the GOP and Democrats will have different candidates.
Are you still optimistic about a country in which the presidential candidate is either a charlatan or demented and yet they are allowed to run fot presidency? This is truly ridiculous from the very basis!!
Anyway... imagine that both Biden and Trump continue their campaigns. Will you still vote?
@behnam1999 Part of being an adult is learning to accept and adapt to reality.
I am not tremendously concerned if Trump eins nor if Biden wins because they have Cabinets who are thr more significant day-to-day leaders.
Yes, I will still vote against Trump.
Voting against Trump means voting for Biden. So, you think a demented guy makes the situation better?
@behnam1999 Voting against Trump means voting against Trump (*). It means nothing else; especially since it is not yet time to vote.
(*) Please learn logic.
This is your logical schema:
1. PREMISE: Biden OR Trump
2. PREMISE: NOT (Trump)
3. CONCLUSION: Biden; Disjunctive Syllogism 1, 2.
But Premise 1 is false because that presupposes that Biden and Trump are the only candidates.
This is the correct logic:
1. PREMISE: Biden OR Trump OR Other_1 OR Other_2 OR... Other_N
2. PREMISE: NOT (Trump)
3. CONCLUSION: Biden OR Other_1 OR Other_2 OR... Other_N; Disjunctive Syllogism 1, 2.
To show that you syllogism is false...
1. PREMISE: Biden OR Trump
2. PREMISE: NOT (Trump)
3. PREMISE: Kennedy
4. Biden; Disjunctive Syllogism 1, 2.
5. Kennedy <> Biden ! CONTRADICTION
So, since we have a contradiction and if the premise "Kennedy" is true (as in I voted for Kennedy) and that the premise "NOT (TRUMP)" is true (as in I did not vote for Trump), then the premise "Biden OR Trump" must be false... and it is false since the statement "Biden OR Trump" means that I would only vote for Biden or Trump, yet I would have voted for Kennedy which is neither Trump nor Biden.

I am not voting for Trump, period.
I likely will not vote for Kennedy either (and I don't even know if he's on the ballot in my state, Missouri).
If will likely vote for the Democratic candidate no matter who that is, but I may even vote for a GOP candidate if Trump is in prison (*fingers crossed*) and the GOP candidate is better than the Democratic candidate. For instance, I'd consider voting for GOP Liz Cheney over DEM VP Kamala Harris.
You could have spared time and not trying to show off you're some sort of Aristotle or something, which has no reason other than trying to satisfy your sense of arrogance which means you have to attend ethics classes or get some therapy or something. Don't ever try to respond because I don't consider you as a normal person to talk to.
@behnam1999 Actually, I am not trying to be arrogant. I am trying to teach you some logic. Believe it or not, logic skills are important because:
1) they help you see through bullshit (like much of what came out of Trump's mouth in the debate) 2) if you wish to work in a STEM field like IT or AI, your ability to do logic will be judged because it is an important skill.
3) it can help you identify errors and threats.
GE paid me $1500 (after taxes) because I discovered an unanticipated failure mode in a new system they were designing. How did I do that? Logic.
Also, 12 years ago, I discovered a problem in a control system involving motors and jet engines that was never properly addressed. 2 years later, when the problem was discovered by the ultimate customer (an aircraft manufacturer), there was hell to pay; the engine manufacturer wanted to blame us, but I whipped out my email from 2 years earlier which said "Hey, you guys need to fix this problem!" They didn't, so THEY got the shit, not us.
How did I do that? Logic.
So, I'm not trying to be arrogant, but I want to help you.
I am being a bit nitpicky on logic here because, believe it or not, people will judge you on that.
Nope. It's like deciding what type of cancer you'd rather have. You got one side voting for pancreatic cancer and the other voting for testicular cancer.
And I'm just sitting here like "but I don't want cancer at all..."
I'll vote for Alice Cooper.
True! πππ
You mean the rockstar? lmao
Yep! The Rockstar
Hahaha π€£π€£π€£
George Carlin doesn't vote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIraCchPDhk
No, it's not really like that. It's deciding how fast you'd want to see the USA become Gilead under Trump, which will happen in 2-4 years, or getting a chance to fix the problems with the Dems and the whole damn system. I prefer to have an option, however unrealistic it may be, as the Trump route is guaranteed destruction.
I used to be like you. But having fully embraced both sides at one point I realized it is exactly how I just described it.
If you believe for one second that either party is going to fix anything then you haven't been paying attention.
Exactly!
I don't "embrace" any party. That said, only ONE party is relatively happy to let you live under the illusion of freedom, and may actually grant you some, and not burn your books.
I never said either "party" was going to fix anything. Why would they - to the wealthy, it's not broken. And I quote: " getting a chance to fix the problems with the Dems and the whole damn system." However slim that chance may be, a fucked up USA under the Dems for a while longer is a better alternative than Gilead under the Repubs, and the USA will indeed come to be like the Handmaid's Tale if the Repubs get their way.
That's very binary thinking my guy.
"This party sucks, therefore the other one is the better choice by default".
There are more than two options my friend. You just have to be open to some abstract hypotheses.
There isn't time for abstract hypotheses to be implemented before November, which you've yet to put forth anyway? Like what?
There's a "Clear and Present Danger" at hand, and yes, one party does suck WAY more than the other about a great many things. That doesn't make them good, and it doesn't mean they're not corrupt either.
For now, there is no one to vote for, so I'll leave this dubious pleasure to others. I want to believe that during my lifetime, a reasonable candidate for president will appear and that I won't be ashamed to vote for them.
No. I don't like or support either candidate. At this point, we're basically voting on which man is the "lesser of the two evils."

At this point it might even be possible if I book a plane ticket, but I don't like flying haha.
ππππ
This is my first election ever and I want no part in it at all. I'm just going to lay here and die. 🥲
Moooood πππ
Of course not. Voting changes nothing. Regardless of their talk, once in office both are very similar.
Fax.
Yep I'm voting. Even if the choices are dogshit I'm still voting for the least smelly dogshit.
Vote for the lesser evil? Still voting for evil.
Voting for no evil at all allows the worst evil to win.
Evil is evil.
Not voting still helps one side win. So it's still technically a vote
Actually, you are wrong.
Voting is a scam designed to give citizens the illusion of power.
Your "vote" is useless.
Agree to disagree. I don't go that far down the conspiracy theory pipeline.
Research for the sake of your children's future.
We owe it to them to leave the best possible World we can, and the time is right.
Stay sweet.
www.msn.com/.../ss-AA1jqjCS
But where does it end? Most people who believe heavily into conspiracy theories usually see conspiracy in literally everything. So is everything a conspiracy? Where does it end?
It's been going on for centuries, way before you and I were even born.
"The Rothschild family is slowly but surely establishing their Central banks in every country of this World, giving them an incredible amount of wealth and power.
In the year of 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild owned Central Bank:
Afghanistan
Iraq
Sudan
Libya
Cuba
North Korea
Iran
It is not a coincidence that these countries which are listed above were and are still being under attack by the western media, since one of the main reasons these countries have been under attack in the first place is because they do not have a Rothschild owned Central Bank yet.
The first step in having a Central Bank establish in a country is to get them to accept an outrageous loan, which puts the country in debt of the Central Bank and under the control of the Rothschilds. If the country does not accept the loan, the leader of this particular country will be assassinated and a Rothschild aligned leader will be put into the position, and if the assassination does not work, the country will be invaded and have a Central Bank established with force all under the name of terrorism.
Central banks are illegally created private banks that are owned by the Rothschild banking family. The family has been around for more than 230 years and has slithered its way into each country on this planet, threatened every world leader and their governments and cabinets with physical and economic death and destruction, and then emplaced their own people in these central banks to control and manage each country's pocketbook. Worse, the Rothschilds also control the machinations of each government at the macro level.
The only countries left in 2011 without a Central Bank owned by the Rothschild Family are:
Cuba
North Korea
Iran"
Yes I am. While I don't live in a swing state so I doubt my vote will change the outcome at all, there are plenty of important local races that have far more impact on my day to day life as you go down the ballot.
I don't even vote in the local elections. Why would I bother with American ones.
The choice is always between Red Shit and Blue Shit regardless of country. That isn't even a choice at all. Most I've ever done is defaced a ballot.
Yes, will vote for whoever gets Biden out of the White House.
πππ
Tf? πππ
TBH, I'm not sure yet. I wish there were two different candidates from the major parties.

* President Trump approved $8.4 trillion of new ten-year borrowing during his full term in office, or $4.8 trillion excluding the CARES Act and other COVID relief.
* President Biden, in his first three years and five months in office, approved $4.3 trillion of new ten-year borrowing, or $2.2 trillion excluding the American Rescue Plan.
* President Trump approved $8.8 trillion of gross new borrowing and $443 billion of deficit reduction during his full presidential term.
* President Biden has so far approved $6.2 trillion of gross new borrowing and $1.9 trillion of deficit reduction.
I donβt believe that. Iβm a moderator now. Iβm not gonna get into a heated name calling debate on an open thread and get reprimanded. I know how these things go leading into 100 word comments Iβm not interested and Iβm not gonna lose my temper because of you trying to push my buttons and I end up getting reported
Nope, i may vote in the UK General Election next Thursday but i do not qualify to vote for the next US President.
Vote for anyone who is more positive not negative
Trump...300% Corn pop will probably vote Trump as well.
I'll vote, but libertarians never win so it won't be for the next president that I'm voting.
Yes. There's only one choice, though. The others are suicidal.
@macdaddyrico
Voting in USA is useless and it's only to show public that they picked president which they did not.
Yes, thank you.
The entire two-party system is rigged. (Divide & Conquer.)
"Candidates" are selected from a cesspool of corrupt politicians, many of whom are pedophiles. Because they are easier to control.
Politicians not playing by the Cabal's rules are either ruined on mainstream media (which the Cabal controls) or killed in "accidents" or by "suicide" with three bullets to the back of the head.
I believe they were instrumental in JFK's assassination:
truthout.org/.../
Hell yeah I am voting for Trump. This country cannot survive another 4 years of Biden's woke insanity.
Not a US voter, but I will be voting in the UK Election on the 4/7/23. How I will vote is between myself and the Ballot Box.
no, I'll not vote for Biden or Trump, so I'll go third party, so my guy won't be the next president
Yes and no, I wonβt be sharing who Iβm voting for. 😊
POTUSs are selected, not elected.
BOTH parties are controlled by Zionists.
No matter who "wins," we are doomed.
voting for Biden. we need more entertainment for the next 4 years
A political war is on the horizon.
Election interference will be the cause.
I also think that 80% of the people on GAG are liberals who do not work and live with their parents.
You have been brainwashed if you think Trump is evil.
I donβt think anything. I am very indifferent about all this.
Though, the majority of my generation thinks all this is stupid. Old people just fighting for power. The rest seem to have settled for Trump, since President Biden has dementia or something. π€·πΎββοΈ
Correct, all a play to be in power but I would rather be able to retire than count on government hand outs.
I guess that makes sense. π§πΎββοΈ
I'm illegal Russian spy. Fuck yeah. Like 30 times weekend at Bernies.
The real question is "will out votes actually be counted".
If I'm still alive, which I'm hoping I won't be, I'll vote for Trump
no. none of the options are acceptable and by voting, i declare acceptance of the outcome so i won't do that.
Nah. I wouldn't mind seeing the current corpse removed though.
Iβm voting for Trump
I always vote in presidential elections
@loves2learn who will you vote to?
I usually lean liberal but I am fairly moderate.
Sure, just not for Biden or Trump
Yes, I will be.
